THE MAKING OF MEMORABLE PHOTOS

Making photo shoots fun for the whole family is a wonderful way to get great, unique, and memorable photos! Adding image manipulation, filters, and artistry once all the best photos are selected, is another.

With family members arriving from various parts of the country, there was only one hour to get the family together at the same time in the same place in the year 2012, this hot summer day.

PLENTY OF PHOTOS FROM WHICH TO SELECT

Shooting various group shots and poses (with 140 shots in the hour), there were plenty photos from which to select for each family member.

Displayed on this page and in the above Slideshow are a number of the photos with different frame and matting selections (which are actually a part of the printed art, so there is no need to purchase a frame) —from which the entire family could select their favorites.

At first, it appeared the “delete” button was required on one of the full family shots because the family pet was obviously not in a “correct” pose and Brenden’s attention was focused on the dog and not the camera. Upon second look, by siloing out the two from the rest of the family and adding some fun graphics, a cute, memorable picture was realized—one which could not be duplicated if you tried.

THE FOLLOWING FAMILY GROUPING WAS DERIVED BY SILHOUETTING THE BEST SHOTS OF EACH FAMILY MEMBER (SHOWN BELOW) AND ADDING A, NATURAL BACKGROUND TO THIS FULLY CREATED PANORAMA.

Similarly, the best photo of Kyleigh was selected and silhouetted out of a family photo where other family members were not portraying their best poses. Again, fun created graphics just added to this photo.
